Our Alaska Coastal Backpacking Adventure is an introductory-level backpacking trip that discovers the magic of Caines Head, where a temperate rainforest meets the richest marine ecosystem in the world. Youth will learn the art of backpacking, all about Alaskan coastal ecology and marine life, and uncover the past as we explore the historic WWII Fort McGilvray - hidden in rock and slowly being reclaimed by nature.
